Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi - Department of Psychology, conducted an webinar on “Autism and Academic Performance”. Our College Secretary, Sri. C. Lickmichand G Jain sir and Principal Dr. M. Inbavalli presides the event with a prayer song. Mrs. Rajeshwari, Spl Educator, Counseling Psychologist, CCF, Chennai is been the resource person of the program. Welcome address was given by Ms. C. A Sabha Kulsum of II B.Sc Psychology, Dr. J. Lesitha Jeevakumari, Head, Department of Psychology felicitated the gathering with her inspiring speech about mental health. Ms. Fareeza Farheen of II B.Sc Psychology introduced the chief guest Mrs Rajeshwari, Spl Educator, Counselling Psychologist, CCF, Chennai. She explained the in depth of autism and its advantages and disadvantages. And she shared the types of autism and discussed about the disorders that are related to autism. She associated the autism and academic issues that how students undergoing in it and gave good clarification of autism in children. Ms. Daniya Mariyam, I B.Sc Psychology delivered vote of thanks to the gathering. Around 700 students participated in the program.
