WORLD HEARING DAY - 03.03.2025
March 3 will be World Hearing Day!
🌍 Hearing loss affects over 1.5 billion people worldwide, and by 2050, that number could rise to 2.5 billion.
The good news? Many cases can be prevented with early intervention and care.
Warning signs of hearing loss include:
🔹 Difficulty hearing other people and following conversations
🔹 Frequently asking others to repeat themselves
🔹 Persistent ringing in the ear (tinnitus)
🔹 Speech and other sounds seem muffled
🔹 Listening to music or TV at higher volumes than usual
To protect your hearing:
🎧 Keep volume below 60% and use noise-canceling headphones
🔕 Take breaks and limit time spent in loud environments
🙉 Wear ear protection, such as ear plugs, at concerts and noisy workplaces
📱 Use apps to track and manage your sound exposure levels
